GE wanted a new look for their Data Visualizations website. So, they hired Design Brooklyn to help them with this and Design Brooklyn hired me. GE and Design Brooklyn love the design, but after a few rounds of edits they decided to change the color scheme. But I prefer the original.

Hello.

My name is Imhotep Hester (MHTP/HSTR). I am an artist, designer, coder, thinker, home chef, tune tracker and pop culture connoisseur. I work and live in the city of New York. I am a believer in the beauty of simplicity and the power of design to inform and inspire. I like to refer to my training as the University of Autodidacticism (a.k.a. the school of learning by doing). I am a self-taught, self-propelled individual in search of creative challenges. I design out of love, and every once in awhile I'm lucky enough to be presented with a project that I can give my heart to.

When I'm not working I'm exploring the city, reading, learning, cooking, eating, dancing, talking, laughing and living.

Imhotep Hester is a multidisciplinary creative working and living in New York. He is a lover of creative challenges, great music, funky sneakers and Yakisoba (what!?). When Imhotep is not working you can find him relaxing with a cup of tea, creating new art or moving his feet downtown.
